Crossroads Church
The international character of Cross Roads Church lends itself to a Modern International Style building where the faithful can come together to fellowship and worship.
To capture the International Style, Graphite Parklex and dark Manufactured Stone walls as well as Corten Columns were chosen. Thus, giving the building a modern and solid feel while the tall columns and large curtain walls provide a welcoming lightness and contrast to the dark colours. For the interior the walls are finished with brushed concrete parging to give the occupants a feel of simplicity and being grounded and allowing them to focus their attention on their fellowship and worship.
The Sanctuary seats 140. It contains a baptismal pool located below a hanging Cross adorned with golden symbolic light rays. The congregation faces east where a large stain-glass window frames the Cross and provides an inspiring backdrop to the pulpit and Altar platform.
